about robin
I am a trauma-informed integrative therapist and bodyworker who combines John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release, Somatic Experiencing®, yoga, and health coaching in my private practice.
I currently see clients in-person in southern California, and virtually worldwide.
In 2005, I founded BREATHING ROOM as a sanctuary for those who want to explore and heal the root causes of physical and emotional pain, and rediscover their innate wellness and goodness. I offer a place for those who seek more than just palliative care- it is for those who truly want to come home to themselves and experience wellness and vitality as their natural state and their birthright.

After receiving my Bachelor's Degree from Chapman University, I trained at the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences to become a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist in 2005. Concurrently, I became a yoga instructor (RYT-200) trained in the Anusara tradition.
I went on to study with the Loving Touch Foundation in 2006 to become an Infant Massage Instructor. In 2011, after the birth of my special needs son, I studied Yoga for the Special Child®. I completed my Postpartum Doula Training through Doulas of North America (DONA) in 2012.
In 2013, I began my study of the John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release Approach® and I continue to regularly deepen my study and practice of this modality. I am an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and I am in my advanced year of studies with Somatic Experiencing® International (SEI).
